APTAK is an NGO officially registered under the Societies Act, Chapter 108 of the Laws of Kenya. APTAK champions trusteeship and administration of retirement benefits schemes through regular training and education.
(a) The primary aim of the Association is to establish a platform for thoughtful discussions, consultations, and considerations regarding responsible trusteeship and administration that affect the members of the association. Additionally, the Association may offer recommendations, if necessary, to the Retirement Benefits Authority and other related matters:
APTAK strives to advance exemplary practices in the management and administration of retirement benefits by providing regular training and education, as well as fostering partnerships with key stakeholders in the industry at both national and regional levels.
(b) The Association is not affiliated with any political party and operates with non-political objectives.
